Why Your Username Has Changed
What’s changed?
To improve account security and simplify sign-in, we’ve updated our system so that your username is now your email address instead of a chosen username.
This means that when you log in, you’ll use the email address associated with your account.
Why we made this change
We made this update for a few important reasons:
- Clearer, more consistent logins
Email addresses are unique, which helps avoid confusion and login issues. - Improved security
Using email addresses helps us better protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access. - Easier account recovery
If you ever forget your password, recovery is simpler and faster when usernames are tied directly to email addresses.
What does this mean for you?
- Your account and data have not been deleted or changed.
- You can continue using the platform as normal.
- The only difference is that you’ll now sign in using your email address.
Have multiple accounts on the same email?
If you previously created more than one account using the same email address, this change may affect how you log in.
If this applies to you, please get in touch with us so we can help merge or resolve your accounts
